All countries in South America are subject to different animal travel regulations. Please complete the form below and we will email you the relevant veterinary requirements for that country.
Below are the standard requirements for travel:
Pets travelling to South America are not subject to any quarantine time upon arrival.
All Pets need to be micro chipped before they can leave South Africa.
Pet’s inoculations (5 in 1 for dogs; Felocell for cats; as well as Rabies for both) must be older than of 30 days and no more than 1 year prior to departure.
An export health certificate is required and this would be issued by your local vet or our Vet if you prefer, prior to departure from South Africa. PETport will prepare all your Veterinary Health Certificates for you.
