Pet Travel Stats<\/h3>

All countries within the Nordic Region\u00a0are subject to different animal travel regulations. Please\u00a0complete the form below\u00a0<\/span>and we will email you the relevant veterinary requirements for that country.<\/span><\/p>

Below is the basic standard requirements for travel:<\/span><\/p>

Pets travelling to the Nordic Region\u00a0are not subject to any quarantine time upon arrival. \u00a0Whilst the Nordic area is not part of the European Union, their entry requirements for pets are similar to the European Union<\/p>

All Pets need to be microchipped before they can leave South Africa.<\/p>

VETERINARY PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW<\/span><\/p>

  • Valid Inoculations (5in1 for Dogs; 3in1 for Cats) \u2013 over 30 days less than 12 months<\/li>
  • Valid Rabies Vaccination – over 30 days less than 12 months<\/li>
  • Microchipping<\/li>
  • Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titration Test (RNATT)<\/li><\/ul>

    Entry to The EU may take place AT LEAST 90 days after the drawing of blood for the RNATT, no sooner entry may happen.<\/p>

    IMPORTANT:<\/u><\/span>\u00a0The Rabies Test (RNATT) can only be drawn after 30 days from re-vaccination of Rabies if the pets Rabies inoculations have been allowed to expire.\u00a0 Please DO NOT draw blood before these 30 days as the pets will not receive State Clearance and may not be allowed to enter the country or may be quarantined on entry.\u00a0 Micro-chipping\u00a0MUST<\/u>\u00a0be done prior to or on the same day as the rabies vaccine, any variation to this may result in a blood redraw and possible travel delays<\/span><\/p>

    We do have excellent partner agents who are also able to meet your pet on arrival into the EU, clear customs and forward your pet onto his\/her final destination including delivery to your new home.\u00a0 Please ask us about this service.<\/p>
