Pet Travel Stats
Pet’s travelling to the Middle East are not subject to any quarantine time upon arrival.
Pet’s inoculations (5 in1 for dogs, including Leptospirosis, and 3 in 1 for cats as well as Rabies for both) must be valid for a minimum of 30 days and not less than a year. The pet also needs to be microchipped.
A Rabies Titre Blood test must be drawn (this blood can be drawn by your local vet, however, MUST be sent for testing at Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute (OVI) and not a private institution – your vet will arrange for the blood to be couriered to OVI; the pet can then enter the UAE 12 weeks from the date this blood is drawn. The Rabies Titre Blood test is valid for 12 months.
